After much radio success from her 2022 country radio single "Dirty Up Good," award-winning, inspirational country artist, Amanda Hagel, is now releasing one of her most personal, and uplifting songs yet, titled "These Roots". The song is about Amanda's upbringing on a ranch in Southwest Saskatchewan, capturing the feel of the warm country prairies, the memories and importance of her family. Through entering countless singing and songwriting competitions, playing and singing as part of church music ministries for many years and playing regularly in two cover bands she co-founded over 15 years ago, Amanda Hagel is dead-set on becoming a new name in the country world.
"These Roots," is a nostalgic reflection on where Amanda was raised—a farm in Southwest Saskatchewan—and her familial ties and the love she shared with her parents, who are now both gone.
Teaming up once again with Canadian award-winning producer, Bart Mckay, and his incredible cast of musicians, the song has a jumpy country rock feel with its warm acoustic guitar and Americana-esque lead electric guitar.
