New artist feature on WMDC. John shares his story on the ups and downs of life that led him to writing songs and creating music. Read and listen below.


"Born in 67, former stock broker. I'm a comedian and also happen to be the only fan of my comedy. My health sucks. Almost died in 2019. My dream car burnt to the ground at a traffic light in Dec 2025, son's car got totalled a week later, wife had a heart attack in that same 10 day span, blew up my business, can only focus for about 3 minutes at a time. Anything that happens in the smallest manner or fashion immediately distracts me from whatever shiny object, squirrel or butterfly that I was already focusing on for 30 seconds. Got major surgery coming up. Hopefully won't kill me ( I ain't that lucky, see above). Been rich and broke several times over. But guess I really wasn't all that rich if I wound up broke. But I do have 3 amazing kids and the hardest working wife in the world. Add that to a sense of humor through all the bullshit and things aren't that bad. And by the way, I write all the lyrics. Not AI supported... The music, on the other hand, yeah, got a little help. . I hope you enjoy it. While I am not a massive country fan, I always loved Toby Keith. I started writing this song a few years ago before he passed. I thought this was something he would right. And the song is about how if you drink enough at the bar, and wait until 2 am, you will always go home with someone beautiful. ( or at least beautiful for a few hours).
